So I was having a very productive, good night last night....up until I fucked up the challenge.
The night started off with me just chatting back and forth with Lisa. Then we got to talking about the GREs, which she's preparing for and I've already taken, so at the end of the conversation I slipped in, "Well I'll have to keep some tips to myself still, so you'll have an incentive to keep me around
". This led to her telling me of course and us making an agreement to stick together. She told me hadn't approached anyone else yet, and I do believe that. We agreed to share any conversations back and forth, and from the tone of the conversation, be each others #1. If this turns out to be my best option, then I'll go with her all the way, but I'm not putting all my eggs into one basket this early. Which leads to my next conversation....
I also somehow slipped a game related comment into a conversation with Danni a little while after Lisa signed off. She then threw out he idea for a "winner's alliance" and said she wants to go to the end with me. Apparently she wanted to ask after our first conversation but didn't want to seem like a schemer. I told her I had no deals with anyone else, and she said the same, which I'm inclined to believe.
I've continued to become close with Matt, we talk everyday, and Lisa told me she was close to him too, so we decided she would approach him. He was instantly down, but, upon my advice, she didn't tell him about mine and her alliance. Instead she said talks second and third most with me and Brandon. Mattt was hesitant to pull me and Brandon in this early, but he spoke highly of me. I'm going to just keep talking to him, making him think I trust him much more than I do, and approach him soon; when depends on the challenge results.
I did not tell Lisa about my deal with Danni. When it comes time to organize a vote, if necessary, I'll throw it out there that I could probably swing Danni our way.
I've been talking to Brandon a lot the past few days. He's big into politics and my ex never shut the fuck up about politics, so I just pretended to be really into them as well. That really got our conversation going so it definitely worked. He asked me a lot about my personal life, and in order to to pull him in and trust me, I just went with the conversation. I'm going to approach him for a deal soon, hopefully after we WIN the challenge.
I somehow fucked up the easiest challenge haha. I believe when I went to "copy image" the L that I didn't click it, and since I wasn't even paying attention to the letters, I didn't notice it was wrong when I posted it. Whatever, I'm over it. Abi was probably mad, but hopefully won't hold it against me//tell people it was my fault.
I've already accepted however, that I will be one of the weaker challenge performers. Knowing this, this early though I can formulate a strategy that won't have to rely on challenge wins post-merge.
Hmmm well that's all for now. I'm going to go chat up Jay, try and buddy up to him a little more.
