We're over-thinking it.

I feel most comfortable with my all-out-offense plan, but if the tribe wants to throw in the "safe person" option, then I won't argue against it. I don't want to force my opinion on anyone cause there's always the chance that my plan could blow up in our faces.

My alliance seems pretty set on voting Ashley out and I'm not hearing much to the contrary from other people. It sucks, but the name of the game is Don't Rock the Boat. I really like Ashley and don't want to vote for her (I almost made my alliance with her before deciding on Jay and Matt), but I can't ostracize myself from the tribe by fighting against what many are already thinking of doing. I'm still throwing out Rory's name and trying to get the vote to switch. Nothing against Rory; he's just the last person on our tribe I've talked to and his name was already being thrown out before I even got home from work last night to talk to anyone.

I hope I can still save Ashley, but I'm going to make sure I don't put myself in danger in the process. If it looks like I can't save her, then I'll at least let her know that she's the vote before the the deadline. I don't want to lie to her and/or blindside her. She feels like someone I could have really connected with in this game.

I just found a foothold to possibly save Ashley. Matt told me how Brandon and Danni are dead-set against voting for Rory. I talked with Brandon earlier and he was testing my feelings on Rory and Danni. Asking me about Danni came out of nowhere. He then told me how he and Danni's houses are 15 minutes apart. He seems to know her pretty well and with both of them being against voting Rory out, I think I smell an alliance.

I have gone to Matt about this, he agrees I may be onto something and with me, him, Ashley, and possibly Jay, that would be 4. We'd need 1 more person for this to work and he's nervous about approaching anyone. Well, I'm not. I'm approaching JT right now.

Ok, so Danni supposedly approached Brandon about joining an alliance consisting of Danni, JT, Lisa, Jay, and Matt.

Brandon said that he asked JT and Lisa about it and they laughed it off saying that Danni is a "loose cannon" and it's "a desperate act".

I had my paranoid theory above about Rory, Danni, and Brandon being in an alliance. That's starting to not look so strong, but it could still be a possibility and Brandon could be trying to throw me off right now.

Then there's my alliance of Abi, Matt, and Jay. I told Matt that I want to expand our alliance a little for security and we agreed as long as we can do it in a way that makes it seem like the alliance is just now organically forming with the new member(s) rather than it being an pre-existing alliance that they're being invited to.

Brandon hinted to me that he wants to form an alliance with me and JT, possibly Rory. I'm going to try to get Brandon to replace Rory with Jay and Matt "for tribal strength" and hope that he bites and it looks like Brandon and I formed the alliance and included Jay and Matt.

I have officially thrown Danni's name out for the vote.

Brandon and Ashley are on board for a Danni vote. I'm trying to convince JT and Matt to go that way, too. Brandon is working on Lisa. I really want Jay to come on before the deadline cause we're allies and I don't want to vote a certain way when he thinks I'm voting another.

Matt doesn't want to vote Danni out. He says that he thinks there's an alliance of Brandon, JT, and Lisa and that we'd need Danni to break them up. I'm trying to point out that with everyone being so willing to vote for Ashley, that she obviously has no allies and we could easily bring her in to break up any alliance we need broken up.

Matt didn't want to vote for Danni, Brandon had to go and said he was sticking with voting for Ashley, and I couldn't really get anyone else on board to keep Ashley, so it looks like she's going and I'll have to stick with voting for Ashley.
