Not going to lie, I'm somewhat happy about losing the challenge to get the ball rolling over here .
As soon as the challenge results were posted, Ashley answered my im from like two days ago, lmao. Scramble, much? I'm not exactly sure how far she expected to get with a social game that consisted of one to five work sentences, always about herself.
Matt and I talked a lot about the vote. Mostly about pitting Rory and Ashley against each other. We both agreed that we would want to speak to Lisa and Brandon before making a final decision, though we were learning towards Ashley. Matt said he would be more than willing to switch the vote (presumably to Rory) if one of us had a strong opinion on it. I briefly considered trying to swing the vote Rory's way at that point because Ashley is stonger in challenges, but decided not to.
Danni was 100% locked into the Ashley decision before I even talked to her. She's already talking about targeting Abi in the next vote. I pretended like I'm all for it, but in reality, I'm undecided. Abi going is great, because like Danni says, she's going to be a huge threat later on. I also am not close to Abi at all. On the other hand, we may need her strength for a while longer, depending when we lose again. If it's next round, getting rid of Rory may be better. He's probably the weakest in challenges.
I feel very good about my position in this game. I've got Danni giving me 100% of her trust, completely ride or die. I also don't think anyone suspects that I've made a deal with her. There's no doubt in my mind that Lisa too is firmly committed to her deal with me. Same with Brandon. Although we have not made an official deal, the way Matt talks to me gives me the impression of my being safe with him, for a while at least. Rory seems simple enough to direct around. Jay's a real wildcard for me though. He's possibly the strongest member of our tribe (3 minutes on your own....REALLY?!), I have no idea where his head is at strategically, and we're not especially close, though we do communicate regularly.
Hmmm, that's all for now.
