Round 6

Losing twice in a row is SO demoralizing. Especially because I felt really confident about our performance in today's challenge. I'm just glad that it's not my head on the chopping block as a result.

Right now, it's a stalemate between myself and Jay about the vote. He wants Alexis gone, I want RC gone. Alexis will be a million times more useful to my personal game than RC. In a merge, she would be able to provide me with info about orginal Luoba plans and happenings since the swap. Also initially I thought RC was much stronger in challenges, but I don't think she's outshone Alexis, at all, since the swap. Jay and myself both agreed to vote however the majority decided though.

I've already got Lisa on board with voting RC off. At the beginning of the conversation, Lisa was leaning towards Alexis, but I was able to pull her over. To do this, I played into Lisa's paranoia about RC holding a grudge against her for taking her part in challenge 5. I also explained how Alexis could be useful to us down the line.

Now I just need to talk to Rory before Jay gets to him. I have a feeling he's going to want to vote Alexis though. Hopefully I can change his mind.

For some reason, Lisa is paranoid that RC found the idol. Based on what Matt and Danni told me about the mysterious island, I sincerely doubt it though. Now that it's in my head though, I'm pretty paranoid about being eliminated with one vote

Above all, I'm dying for a merge. The individual aspect of this game really needs to get going. I've never been much of a team player.

This vote has turned into one with potentially game changing ramifications. Jay is hard set on his Alexis stance, as am I on my RC one. Lisa is telling me she's 100% behind RC, but "really bad at sticking up for what she wants". Thus, it's looking like its just me versus Jay, bad for me, good for her.

The night started off with Jay apparently trash talking me to Lisa. He was telling her how I have all these connections to the other tribe with people like Jonas (LOL WHAT?) and Brandon (bad move suggesting him so openly for MI), and I'm "a nice guy but will really shake things up in a merge situation". So basically he's got my game somewhat figured out, but with his babbling onto Lisa about me, I've clearly still got some of my cards hidden.
So, thinking long term, essentially Jay will want to cut me early merge, if not before then.

Finally the swing original Menba, Rory, vote logs in. Lisa and I begin simultaneously working him towards an RC vote. Like I predicted though, he was leaning towards Alexis. He sees RC as more active and stronger in challenges, which is valid. I explained though how I didn't see how Alexis was that much weaker than RC in the challenges, blah blah. He kept saying he would do whatever, but was leaning towards an Alexis vote

At one point he tells Lisa, who was acting more on the fence but still pushing RC, that the two of them should flip a coin. Upon my advice, Lisa told him it's a great idea and to just pretend hers comes up RC ;D Rory's then came up RC too. He was then apparently leaning RC, though still saying Alexis to me.

So I then thought of a new argument, I pointed out how RC is the only original Luoba who has been to the Mysterious Island, which could hurt us if she somehow goes back. This was the only point in the conversation where I felt like I was really getting through with him. Unfortunately, he then said he needed to sleep on it -_-. He wants to meet up and talk as a foursome tomorrow. No official time was selected, but Rory said Jay will be in class tomorrow and he said to just let him know whats decided. Hmmm, too perfect
