Round 09

The vote went exactly as planned. Danni still trusts me. I had to tell her I had the idol, or my decision to vote out Tijuana was going to backfire in my face if she didn't trust me about why. What I did last round caused the power to shift from Jay to Danni.

Now I need to think through my next move.

I could either convince everyone to vote out Jonas, which is what Danni wants. It would be easy, and I'd stay safe with the idol another round. Jonas is a little wildcard for everyone, so I'm not certain he'd be useful down the road for me or not. There would be benefits to it and Danni would be so trusting that we could turn everything against her the next round.

Or I could use my connections with Jay, Jonas, Lisa, and Tina to take out the target of my choice - someone who voted with Danni last round like Alexis or RC. I trust Tina because of our idol alliance, and she could bring Tijuana in to be the 6th. I feel pretty confident that I can handle Danni if she'd try to sell me out. I have an idol. If she sells that fact out, I'll make up some story about telling her I had the idol to get her on board with a vote while I didn't really actually have it.

There's so much that can happen, but I'm not going to make any decision until immunity. 75% chance I'll just vote out Jonas though to make it simple. I wouldn't mind seeing him win immunity though. He'd be seen as so big of a threat that he would be the next vote for sure and that would work fine too.

I don't really know what I'm doing right now. Jay is trying to get Tijuana targeted. I need to touch base with her and Tina again to see if we can work together. If I can, then I don't want her to go.

I believe I can convince Jonas and Lisa to vote for who I want. Jonas no longer has any allies. Lisa no longer seems invested in this game. Jay would vote with us. There's an option right there, and I could take it with Tina's support and Tijuana on board.

Or I could just vote out Jonas. Or Tijuana. What I really need to do is catch up with Danni to make sure we're on the same page still about working together. If not, she can go home too. I've let her become powerful enough by trying to destroy the Menba alliances. Now her Luoba alliance is building power back so I need weaken that before it becomes an obstacle for me.

Jonas will vote with us, and he said he'd try to recruit Alexis if we vote for a target besides Tijuana because Alexis doesn't want to vote for Tijuana. Interesting even though he's quite possibly wrong about Alexis.

Only Jonas and I are on AIM, and I briefly caught Jay before he went to bed. If we just vote out Jonas, at least I will have a good shot at his jury vote for talking to him because I'm the only person in the game he talks to now.

Danni and I are taking RC out now. Perfect. I'm beyond amazed that she's down for it, but this is reducing her power and helping me.

I'm happy because I feel like RC is going and we have the votes needed on board. Jay even agreed to it, which almost seemed too good to be true, but I trust him. So I think we're set, and if RC doesn't go then I'll be blindsided.
