Well, Carlos ruined my planned Final TC speil by giving us a 3 question limit. I was going to have a challenge for all of you to get my vote, but the challenge involved more than 3 questions, so that's out the door. I guess I'll have to ask some real questions now.
1) In this game, the jury tends to like to vote for people whose gameplay was more similar to their own. It helps validate the egos of the jury that even though they didn't win, the person most like them won, thus proving value in that juror's gameplay. In what ways was your gameplay similar to mine?
2) Do you feel you played the game in the same style as your character? Please name in what ways you played similarly to your own character and whether the accuracy of your character should have an impact on the jury when they make their decision.
3) I don't know if you all know this, but Carlos is actually a woman trapped in a man's body. In what ways do you feel this has affected his life and do you have any words to help him deal with his current situation?

1) In this game, the jury tends to like to vote for people whose gameplay was more similar to their own. It helps validate the egos of the jury that even though they didn't win, the person most like them won, thus proving value in that juror's gameplay. In what ways was your gameplay similar to mine? Our gameplay was most similar in the degree of focus we put into the tribal stages, especially the challenges. We were both so determined to win those and were willing to step up and take charge when no one else was. I showed it by trying to coordinate the first challenge and keep track with the list, telling people what orders we had left to move. You did the exact same thing by keeping track of the grid when we swapped. And we were two of the more talkative people when it came to discussing the strategy behind those challenges. This kind of leadership and organization ability was also apparent because you'd like print screen parts of the board and saved your jungle experience to try to keep track of where everyone went. I did the same thing that led me to finding the idol. I just got luckier with my initial jungle areas I chose. 2) Do you feel you played the game in the same style as your character? Please name in what ways you played similarly to your own character and whether the accuracy of your character should have an impact on the jury when they make their decision. I feel like personality-wise, I represented Matt Elrod well. I like to choose easy-to-get-along-with, guy next door type players because that personality best represents my own. I'm very down to earth in the way I communicate and interact with people and get along with almost everyone. There were a few challenges that I tried dominating like Matt would have if he were in the game. I didn't just want to throw everything. I had to break out and get some wins.
There was a point where Matt was faced with a choice. He could join an alliance with Andrea and weaken Rob's alliance, flipping back and forth, and shifting the direction of the game around. But he chose to be loyal to his original alliance which wasn't loyal to him. My strategy may have been like Matt's would have been if he wouldn't have chosen to stick with Rob, but when forced with the decision, I chose to be the villain while he chose to be the hero.
As a juror, you have every right to vote however you want to. As players, all of us put focus on different things during the game. I put mine on social game, strategy, and challenges over being in-character. I'd hope you look at what we did put the effort into and judge us based on those things, but if you want to vote for the best character, then I can't hold it against you. I'll just emphasize what I do hope you base your vote on. I don't know if you all know this, but Carlos is actually a woman trapped in a man's body. In what ways do you feel this has affected his life and do you have any words to help him deal with his current situation? For the first time in this game, I will be fully in-character and pray for Carlos on my bible because he has obviously suffered an identity crisis. I imagine he's had many sleepness nights wondering who he truly is and could use some strength. O Lord, we call upon You in our time of sorrow, That You give us the strength and will to bear our heavy burdens, until we can again feel the warmth and love of Your divine compassion. Be mindful of us and have mercy on us while we struggle to comprehend life's hardships.
Keep us ever in Your watch, til we can walk again with light hearts and renewed spirits.

We had a few similarities between our game plays. I thought we both worked hard in the challenges in this game, we pulled our weight in the tribe challenges and even knowing we were not maybe the strongest people challenge wise in the game, we performed well on most those challenges. We both played the game much like the character we were representing. You were very much like Abi where she was outspoken and not afraid to say anything on her mind and got into it with RC and you did the exact same in this game. Even knowing my character played a different role, I played it like Jonas where I was more laid back and tried to get along with everybody and not cause any drama or chaos. Then we had our similar positions around the time of the merge, I considered us both low on the totem pole there which is why I suggested we should try and work together from that point forward. We were both obviously not in the greatest positions and needed to try and work ourselves up. I feel like a lot of the people in this game shunned us and didn't really want to include us in plans of theirs, like on that Brandon vote for instance misguiding us purposely and leaving us out in the dark. We were both underdogs in the merge and needed to try and turn things around.
2) Do you feel you played the game in the same style as your character? Please name in what ways you played similarly to your own character and whether the accuracy of your character should have an impact on the jury when they make their decision.
I do feel I played this game much how Jonas played in the One World Season. In that season, Jonas seemed to get along with everybody and while he wasn't a mastermind or any type of controlling player, he threw out ideas and tried to stay true to the allies and alliances he had made. I played similar where I tried my best to be genuine and do what I say I'd do, I was never in a great position and tried to work my way up anyway possible by trying to gain people's trust and try and shake all the negativity that was associated with me. I remained true to my allies and people who I made deals with in the game. If I told you I was doing something, then you could count on me to come through. We both were targeted about the same time in the game which I found ironic, the only thing is I believe my ability to try and find a way around being targeted and surviving to this point is what makes our games different and why he went out much earlier and why I made it further and to the end.
Far as if my similar game play as Jonas should impact the jury. It should if you're looking for someone that works hard, is genuine, and tries to play the game up as their character and be successful at it. I feel I fit the mold for Jonas really well where I tried to be as much alike him as I could while not compromising anything at the same time. I feel I did a really good job at it.
3) I don't know if you all know this, but Carlos is actually a woman trapped in a man's body. In what ways do you feel this has affected his life and do you have any words to help him deal with his current situation?
It couldn't have affected his life too much if he's still trapped. I believe he would have found his way out if he really wanted to change his situation. My advice to him is do whatever makes you most comfortable and happy.

In what ways do you feel this has affected his life and do you have any words to help him deal with his current situation? Your question #1 is the hardest for me to answer because we were only on the same tribe for one round. 1) I saw you compete hard in premerge challenges. I don't know how vocal you were in votes but I didn't see you being too forward about it like Jay/Danni. In those two aspects I would say we are similar. 2) I would like to think I played similar to Alexis. In Micronesia, she stayed loyal to Parvati but ultimately got the shaft due to Amanda. In this game I stayed loyal to Danni until she kept targeting people I liked (RC/Rory). I would also say that I'm cute and had decent social play. So we're a little alike. 3) Carlos is in no way a woman trapped inside a man's body. He is super cool and I believe his life has not been affected by this faux disease. (I've got to stick up to my fellow Dylan James - even though he does spell his middle name wrong ). To Carlos/Dylan, keep doing what you're doing! <3
